Iron Horse Ultra 100
“Rock the Rail”

May 6, 7 & 8 - 2011
St. Paul /Elk Point Alberta, Canada
100 KM/100 Mile

What is the Iron Horse Ultra 100?

An organized footrace in which soloists or teams have the option to run 100km or 100miles on one of the most challenging and beautiful off-road courses in Western Canada. The route will cover the beautiful farmlands, lake shores, and riverside of the county of St Paul while incorporating the old abandoned CNR railroad. The Iron Horse Ultra 100 will also showcase the towns of St Paul and Elk Point and give the area residents an opportunity to show how friendly they really are!

As a part of the Alberta Ultra Series the Iron Horse Ultra 100 will test the endurance of all runners. All the challenges of a Mountain course without the Altitude!!

This year’s Iron Horse Ultra 100 was a huge success. The course was fairly difficult but the majority of the runners still manage to finish in a timely fashion.  We like to send out our thanks to all the runners, sponsors, landowners and especially all the volunteers for this great weekend of running.

Thanks,

Race Coordinators

 PS. See you next Year!

"Still smiling after almost 28 hours of running"
